What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Ekiga is registered and 3G is enabled
2. sip:500@ekiga.net

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Hear a female voice of echo testing.  However, there is an icon (a speaker with a cross) on the top of the screen (status bar) and no voice can be heard.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
CSipSimple version is 0.00-12-35 running on Nexus One 2.2 (Froyo).

Please provide any additional information below.

CSipSimple version : 0.00-12-35

CSipSimple Settings :
STUN enabled - stun.ekiga.net
UDP enabled - port 5060
TCP disabled
RTP enabled - port 5004

Connection : via 3G

When conducting an echo test on Ekiga.net server, my Nexus One shows a icon (a speaker with a cross, may be muted) on the top of the screen (status bar).  There is no voice from the Ekiga.net server during the echo test.

During this problem if TCP is enabled, the CSipSimple cannot be quit or exit at once and it will hanging around for over ten seconds or so before quit or exit.  If TCP is disabled, the CSipSimple cannot be exit / quit at once.

There is no problem via wifi router with firewall and UTM (Untangle).

    CSipSimple version : 0.00-12-35

    CSipSimple Settings :

    SIP Server: sip.planetphone.net
    STUN disabled
    UDP enabled - port 5060
TCP enabled / disabled (the same)
    RTP enabled - port 47777

Connection : via WiFi or 3G

via WiFi or 3G both connections are working fine, everything with the both ways voice is OK

When connected with sip.planetphone.net SIP server, HTC Desire shows the same icon also (a speaker with a cross) on the top of the screen (status bar)

But there is NO such problem as described from runnersam, everything is OK with the both side voice.

If TCP is enabled / disabled everything is OK also.

Yes I think that it's more or less the same issue than 205. It's probably a configuration issue. We have to have a closer look, but for now I didn't have a lot of time to see what's happening with ekiga.

As for the icon in status bar, that's normal : it shows you that the ringer mode is now to mute, which is correct while in call (in the future, I'll add an extra notification when a gsm call is incoming, but for now gsm call are not managed at all).

    Mergedinto: 205
