What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect: Registered but I got Error time out

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

    When using basic wizard, I guess you are trying to access a custom server.

    Are you sure this server is available?

    I think that if it fails with timeout it means that there is actually a timeout when trying to register the configured server.

    If you can provide me more infos about your server and how you try to configure your account, I could probably help you more with the configuration.

    Oh, just a though, it probably tries using TCP first and tcp timeout. I've raised this issue to pjsip guys.
    However, there is a possible workaround. I'll add the force UDP for basic account in next release.

    Ok, you can try -12-35.

    (You should uninstall market version before installing this one).

    Besides : the basic account changes between 22 & 3x are the fact it automatically use proxy now. As for most use case it's required.
    So if you still can't register, you should transform your account into an expert or advanced one (using menu > choose wizard). Then scroll down to the *proxy* field and clear its content. Save and see if things are better then.

    If it solve the issue and you are using known sip provider can you tell me what provider it is, so that I can add a wizard for this provider (that automatically ignore proxy field).

    I tested 12-35 and Basic wizard works but Audio still not so good. I got breaking and distort. It's not from my server. I have other ATA hook up to it and it works fine.

    I think from Mic amplifier modifier you made since 12-0 version. 12-0 version audio is fine for me.

    BTW, I use Samsung Spica with mod kernel from Samdroid

    Cheers,

    Here is what you can try to improve things :
    * Disable all codecs except PCMU (go in settings > media > codecs)
    * Disable VAD
    * Disable Echo cancellation
    * Change the audio frequency (try 16kHz & 8kHz (it's probably the current default value) )

    Mic amplifier is a feature that was already existing in 0.00-12. The only thing that change is that in 12-0 there were no interface to change the value ;).
    What change in current version is the fact there is more codecs and also vad and echo cancellation and frequency default values are not the same.
    There is also something that fix an issue with samsung galaxy S... it can affect a little bit audio quality but not something significant. So I think that it's due to codec in use. (Some codecs consume a lot of CPU and can produce this kind of issue).

    As for initial issue, I close this issue. But you can continue to reply here for audio issue, I'm still notified about changes.
