What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make a SIP call using CSIP simple
As soon as the call connects, the "normal" ringer goes to silent
as expected. Shows "vibrate" icon on status bar.
2. When a GSM call comes in the "vibrate" icons suddenly turns to
"silent" icon, and no indication of GSM call whatwoever, except
visually, but the phone is on your ear, so you dont see it.
3. When you hang up all returns to normal.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See explanation above.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Samsaung Galaxy S2
CsipSimple 0.02-03 [r944]
Please provide any additional information below.
I understand the reason for "silencing" the GSM ringer. It puts the phone into "silent vibrate" mode as expected.
When the GSM call comes in, "silent vibrate mode" changes to "silent mode" and there is no indication of the GSM call.
Ideally one would want a "beep beep", but I suspect that is not under CSIPsimple's control. Alternatively, the phone should at least vibrate.
Another option would be for Csipsimple to change the normal GSM ringtone and set the volume, instead of change the phone to "silent mode" while on a call, and change it back afterwards?
