FAQ:

1) Something went wrong, and I want to restore my original settings manually:

Here how you manually restore a backup:

Locate the newest backup folder in CSGO Optimiser\Backups.

Run the .reg files with Registry Editor (probably your default program).

Copy autoexec.cfg, config.cfg and video.txt to your csgo\cfg folder.

Copy .vdf files to Steam\userdata\<number in="" vdf-filename="">\config\. Remember to rename the file to localconfig.vdf</number>

Go to your Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Select csgo.exe > Restore

Finally reboot your computer.

2) I get the following notice: "Windows protected your PC":

Don't worry! This is just because of some new Windows 8 feature. Click "More Info", and "Run Anyway".
