#1 simple .htaccess / access control?

Great program! worked right out of the box. :)

Since this streamer isn't integrated with a
full-featured web server (such as apache, etc...) we
can't very well control access to the stream(s). It
would be great to either have an apache "served"
version so we could use .htaccess or cgi-like access
control OR if camserv supported a simple .htaccess like
access control.

Just a thought.

I'll add my support to this.

I don't want port scanners finding my camserv and chewing up
all my bandwidth while they invade my privacy.

I'd say this is my most sought after feature as it is
preventing me from running it on the Internet.

Unless someone has an idea on how to limit access to a
password in some way using other tools?

(I can limit by IP address but that isn't useful)
