    I have an USB "driverless" webcam A4Tech PK-710MJ (0ac8:c40a).
I could make it to show a picture…

    It's detected as

[1991980.430214] usb 2-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
[1991981.015053] Linux video capture interface: v2.00
    [1991981.045790] uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device A4 TECH USB2.0 PC Camera J (0ac8:c40a)
    [1991981.048005] input: A4 TECH USB2.0 PC Camera J as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:13.2/usb2/2-1/2-1:1.0/input/input2
[1991981.048116] usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo
[1991981.048122] USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0)
[1991981.248743] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio

    More details (lsusb -v -d 0ac8:c40a and v4l-info output) is here: http://jno.homeip.net/equipment/A4Tech_PK-710MJ/

    What am I doing wrong?
    How to fix?
