Success! I've alltered the install script to call for HTML Parser 3.18 and MIME tools 5.314 and it now works and runs. Can't vouch for whether they've made the program any less stable, of course. I think you'll need to go through the mirror quite extensively. In addition to the two components which must be changed, I spotted at least one more (stringy) where the version you are calling for is the oldest one left on the ftp server - I suppose it will disappear too sometime soon...
