I run RH 6.2, with PERL 5.6.0 installed from the source tarballs. I obtained the CVS version (to date that is 1.7.9) of CSCMail and obtained the needed modules through the CSCInstaller.pl script but didn't "install the tar or RPM archive", instead installing the CVS version. I have GTK 1.2.8 and the recent GNOME libraries (from the 1.2.2 source archives from the official site) One thing to note here: the HTML::Parser that is downloaded by the install script does not exist (it is in fact a greater version, 3.13 I believe, that does exist) and the same with the URI::URL module (1.09 exists, not 1.07 as stated). Could this be looked into? When I tried setting up my accounts with the CSV DB, the Account Listing Window came up, however, when I created a new account, the titlebar of the window went above the physical bounds of my monitor. Of course this could be caused by Enlightenment and/or the GTK toolkit itself, but, in general, there are people with < 800x600 displays still out there. I entered my information (I guessed what fields I was editing) and attempting to grab my email with the "SEND/RECEIVE" button - the window came up and proceeded to get my email (from this account actually). I had 3 messages. CSC started grabbing the first one, but then quit just as it reached the end and did not proceed to download the 2 remaining messages. The message it did (presumably) download did NOT show up in my inbox listing. I tried these same steps again running from a clean slate with a MySQL DB (I have a local copy running), and the same happened. Is this an error? Am I doing something wrong? All this is frustrating me to no end - CSC has everything I want in an email client (and there aren't many GOOD clients out there)... but I can't seem to use it correctly....HELP!
