Sanjay Kumar was overheard mumbling something about this on 28 Aug 00 07:24:48 MDT > Dear Friends > > I want to know what is the procedure of uninstalling csc mail > with all of its component like datemanip and othes etc. > I had installed it using installer script with tar option. > I have also one query that whether version 1.7.8 is stable or not. > Stevek has helped meealier i hope same this time also the same. 1.7.8 is as stable as 1.6.x and has a ton more features. The only reason it is not 1.8.x is that I haven't finished the migration scripts yet, and I am hunting a few other lil bugs. (Nothing major) To uninstall CSCMail, it depends on if you chose the RPM or Tarball installation method. If you did RPM, simply RPM -e cscmail This will NOT remove the perl modules. To be honest, I am not sure how to un-install perl modules... the CPAN module can install, but not un-install If you used the tarball installation method, then simply delete /usr/local/bin/csc* and /usr/local/lib/cscmail also nuke ~/.cscmail* -CZ |
