Ok it looks I had the unstable 1.3 version of GTK installed as well, that package was removed, Here is the output of the gtk config : gtk12-config --cflags -I/usr/X11R6/include/gtk12 -I/usr/local/include/glib12 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include Some more code errors found, most likely from not being able to find Gtk, Located Gtk version ... Invoking gendefs.pl with []. If it doesn't match the location of the files, no programs that depend on Gtk+ will be able to find the headers... Also, it looks to me like you have a couple of different versions of Gtk+ installed.
