What does the output of gtk-config --cflags say?  If it doesn't match the
location of the files, no programs that depend on Gtk+ will be able to find the
headers...  Also, it looks to me like you have a couple of different versions
of Gtk+ installed.  This is not a good thing.  (Hint: there is no Gtk+ 2.0 yet)
