Read what you sent to the list... it tells you the problem... you don't have
the headers installed. (glibconfig.h)  So, you need to install the Gtk/Glib
headers.. If you use RedHat, it is the -devel packages....
(gtk+-1.2.7-devel.i86.rpm or something like that)

So in short, yes, there is a remedy, and no matter what new mail clients come
around, you will be hard pressed to compile programs that use Gtk without the
Gtk headers. (or programs that use GtkXmHTML without the GtkXmHTML headers,
etc...)
