[CSCMail-Users] CSCmail/Perl problems

  Hi,

      I would be grateful for some help.  For various reasons, I have not been
  able to install cscmail-1.6.1.  Now, I'm concentrating on cscmail-1.7.x and
  cschtml-full-1.1.0.  Cschtml itself seems to build okay and I've moved   
  CscHTML to gnome-perl, as per the INSTALL instructions. Gnome-perl also
  builds, as does CscHTML, but the CscHTML/samples/test.pl script results in:

       perl: error in loading shared libraries:
       /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i686-Bregor-linux/   \
       auto/HTML/Parser/Parser.so:
       undefined symbol: Perl_get_hv

  Trying to run cscmail gives a similar message:

       bash$ cscmail
       HTML Widget is: CscHTML
       perl: error in loading shared libraries:
       /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i686-Bregor-linux/    \
       auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so:
       undefined symbol: Perl_get_sv

  I guess I need to install additional modules.  What are they ?   Better still,
  when something like this happens again, how do I set about identifying the
  problem ?

  All modules are very recent.  Any advice would be most welcome.
