OK. If I did this correctly, I guess I'm updated as things, generally, seem a bit faster. Was that simply to enter cvs > Be sure to read through the changelog. Uh...changelog...? > Or you can just wait for the official release of 1.8.0 > which should be soon. Cool I'll upgrade as well. > As a side note, are you using the spellchecking features > of > CSCMail? because I notice in your posts a lot of > "substitutions" for words that wouldn't be in the > dictionary of the spellchecker. (For example, > turning CSV to CST and Postgres to Postures) Uh. While I ~had~ been using it, I found it a little annoyiing. It's off now. Interesting, I hadn't substituted either of those. Guess I'll skip the spellchecker till after the next release -- if you're doing anythng with the spellchecker, that is. > You may want to look into that, it makes reading your e- >mail a bit of an adventure. Heh. I'll bet, but as I'd done nothing more than click the "Next" button on those words in the spellchecker, it may not be something I can fix. > Let me know if it seems to be some sort of bug in the > spellchecking code... There ya go. I wouldn't know where to begin, but I know that ispell never did ~anything~ like that. What's that based on? Besides, ispell allows for various options that this one doesn't -- like "Ignore all". Anyway, something else I've found in the Move feature. I'm on lots of lists & am rather anal about getting mail to specific folders. Here, since you've wonderfully included nesting, I've created LOTS of folders. But if something winds up in the wrong folder because the filter found something that wouldn't get it moved or if there is no filter, Next fills the screen vertically, but won't either move down to other folders listed or further down or produce a "More" like nest as in something like NS's bookmarks that go further than the screen. I'd found that using the arrow key will move the highlight, but that the highlight disappears at the bottom of the screen for the the time it takes to cycle to the top of the folder list & reappears there. Did I just not set something, or is that something you'll have to include in the next release or bug fix? Oh, just wondering with the Gibson connection: Any chance you might do something along the lines of the Neuromancer theme for the icons, or something...? Meph -- "I did this 'cause Linux gives me a woody." -Dave '-ddt->' Taylor, announcing DOOM for Linux l login & press Enter? That took all of about a second. Sure, I've a fast box with an adsl connection, but I find nothing new when I do a locate cvs. Maybe that's not the way;-). -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/csc mai |
