And Pronto (as well as Steve's updated version of Perl-CSCMail... yes,
it still exists) has the bad behavior of leaving its prontosendrunning
or cscmailsendrunning file on my system. I know I'm the only one in
the world who is seeing this happen, but I don't intend to watch it
any longer if there's no prospect of it being fixed.

I'm back to using Netscape or even my Win98 client until I can find
something that works.

Not the first time, but after Steve suggested it, I did so and got the
same result.
