CSCmail-perl is no more.Count will continue to support its users but the focus is on C. Pronto! WAS the cscmail Perl project. Pronto! will have a db backend. CSCMail will have an indexed mbox. Choose what you will. > Since I was going to try the C version, I renamed my .cscmail directory to > .cscmailold to get it out of the way. I thought that .pronto had taken over > its role. Wrong! Something you did was wrong. .cscmail should have been moved to .pronto and .cscmailrc to .prontorc. If you did that then there would be no thinking that .pronto had taken it over. You would of manually MADE it take it over yourself. Did you checkout pronto from cvs or cscmail? Also, as Count has stated, the C version is not in a useful form yet. > After fetching from CVS, I first noticed that INSTALL was empty. Before running configure did you run autogen.sh? Another thing... programs from cvs are not guaranteed to run/compile. > That turned out to not be a simple download and install, so I've decided to > wait for the new Helix-Gnome CD's to get here to try again. > -- > Lane > ____ > Lane Lester / Madison County, Georgia USA > ---- > Using Linux to get where I want to go... > > > _______________________________________________ > http://www.cscmail.net > csc...@li... > http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/cscmail-users > > Cliffom -- Michael Clifford http://www.eternal-bliss.com |
