This is a "bug" in the Gtk+ file selector widget. You will find that ALL Gtk+
applications act this way. I hate it too.... Hopefully the Gtk+ maintainers
will fix it soon...

What version of CSCMail? I have fixed this in recent CVS updates.... (well, as
long as one is using a fixed width font to view mail.)

Working on using the CSCHtml widget for editing, and maybe this will fix some
of these glitches... We'll see...
