It is not showing the attached file in what manner?

Does it show a menu with a list of attachments?

Then when you click "View" it simply shows a dialog with three entries? 
The top one contains the MIME/Type (application/vnd.ms-excel I would
assume) and the other two are blank?

If so, simply use the browse button to find your star office executable
(mine is "~/Office51/bin/soffice".  Yours might be different) and then
all should be fine.  If you are not getting the "View Attachment" dialog
with the "Mime-Type:" "Command" and "Icon" entries, then there is
something else going on...

Once you have registered a viewer for a given mime-type, the next time
you choose to "view attachment" of that mime-type, you will not be
prompted with the dialog, it will simply launch the viewer automagically.

  Firstly a lot of thanks for giving an early respone.U are right I have
  some problem else.I am writing u in deatil.If possible then help me.

 I installed CSCMAIL and to tset whether i will be able to see the 
 attachement I SEND A MAIL WITH AN ATTACHMENT OF EXCEL FILE to the account
 in which I have cofigured CSC MAIL.
 When I recive that mail then cscmail was not showing any attachemt.
 I am giving u the exact message format that I recived :

At that time I ahven't defined any mime type.Afterwadrs I thought that 
I have to define Mime-type so I defined the mime type as :

 Mime : application/vnd.ms-excel
command : /opt/Office51/bin/soffice
but again I was not able to see the attachent(i.e. cscmail was not showing
any attachment.
I send again that mail to the cscmail  account but again same thing happened.
While sending from the cscmail account it is showing the attachemt.
In the same account while receving it is not showing any attachment.

I am using database driver as CSV , linux as RED HAT 6.2 and cscmail version
1.6.1.

I need urgent help.

If possible please reply soon.
