I am thinking you may wish to have CSCMail call /bin/mail to send messages. Why would you want to do this? Do you not have access to an SMTP server? -CZ -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Kordik st...@vo... I probably worded that wrong :) I belive /bin/mail calls /bin/sendmail and /sbin/sendmail? some programs call /bin/sendmail or /bin/mail directly. On my gateway box I have qmail`s smtp and pop servers but on my desktop machine I don`t. If a member of my family wanted to use mutt, then it would fail since mutt requires a sendmail compat. command. I meant: is it possible to have CSCMail behave like /bin/sendmail ie non interactive with compatible command line args. -- nov...@bi... |

Not at this time, but it wouldn't be too hard to do... I'll look into it... -Steve -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Kordik st...@vo... Can anyone tell me if a port is available for CSCMAIL Installation on the FreeBSD OS? If so has anyone done it as yet? And where can I download that port? Cheers, Ronnie. |

All you should need to do is install the *BSD port of Gtk+ and then run CSCMailInstaller.pl If for some reason this does not work, please let us know exactly what error messages you get so that we can help you get it installed. -CZ -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Kordik st...@vo... Things have been in a bit of a flux for me recently. I am in the middle of switching jobs (again) this time to Mail.com (I start Sep. 5th) and so am busy tying up loose ends here at voila.com All in all, my summer has not gone well (programming wise) at all. I hope to get settled in at mail.com and then get back into the swing of working on CSCMail. Fact is, I haven't been all that happy here at voila.com and you know how it is when you are not happy at work... It tends to bring you down, so that at the end of the day, all ya wanna do is go to sleep. That's how I've felt these last few months. So, I am getting out of voila.com and I am certain that the work environment at mail.com is going to be much better. I should be able to get back into the swing of things quickly... Sorry it has taken so long... I hope to get back to posting updates soon... -CZ -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Kordik st...@vo...
