Ok, I got everything installed, sort of, the last portition of the install, asking to install the tar or rpm ,and then the location to install into, well it doesn't seem to copy any of the files into the correct location, even as root, so I did figure some things out, I put the cscget, csclock , cscmail, cscsend in /usr/bin, and put everything in cscmail-1.6.1 in /usr/lib/cscmail ( hehe ) The program did start, I setup an account, everything else was fine, I did a send a receive , I had some messages, but it seemed they were piped to /dev/null/ nothing was showing up in the inbox, here was some out put from the program: --------------SNIP ERROR: Date::Manip unable to determine TimeZone. Date::Manip::Date_TimeZone called at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Date/Manip.pm line 620 Date::Manip::Date_Init() called at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Date/Manip.pm line 738 Date::Manip::ParseDateString('Sat, 5 Aug 2000 00:00:01 -0700') called at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Date/Manip.pm line 1655 Date::Manip::UnixDate('Sat, 5 Aug 2000 00:00:01 -0700', '%s') called at /usr/lib/cscmail/csclib.pl line 192 main::date_to_localdate('Sat, 5 Aug 2000 00:00:01 -0700') called at /usr/lib/cscmail/csclib.pl line 382 main::save_message('DBI::db=HASH(0x8556884)', 'Return-path: <Wor...@li...>^JEnvelope-to: aryan@...', 'HASH(0x805f054)', 'HASH(0x8231854)') called at /usr/bin/cscget line 372 -------------SNIP That was the output from send and recieve, when I attempt to send a message, here is what I got after I clicked send: ERROR: Date::Manip unable to determine TimeZone. Date::Manip::Date_TimeZone called at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Date/Manip.pm line 620 Date::Manip::Date_Init() called at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Date/Manip.pm line 738 Date::Manip::ParseDateString('now') called at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Date/Manip.pm line 1655 Date::Manip::UnixDate('now', '%g') called at /usr/lib/cscmail/csclib.pl line 226 main::date_now called at /usr/bin/cscmail line 3044 main::send_message('Gtk::Button=HASH(0x8373c30)', 'Gtk::Window=HASH(0x8b20908)', undef, undef) called at /usr/bin/cscmail line 7303 The program then terminated. I have no clue why it did this. Also cscget.running isn't removing, Ideas? Based on my reading of this newsgroup, it's seems like a good idea to upgrade from 1.6.1 to 1.7.8. How do I do that? Do I start with the perl script again? Or download the rpm?
