Okay, ... the issue seems to be single quotes, not the {"longString":true} for the disconnect. (I was confused ... pv without {"longString":true}, but BOY Format Type = String, works as pv with {"longString":true}) The past version 3.2.5, single quotes were needed for a PV that had a special character. So, BOY screens made in that version will not work in 3.2.6 (the new format single quotes are only needed after an equal sign "=") https://github.com/ControlSystemStudio/cs-studio/issues/38 issue 38 was closed, which addresses this issue. If others see the issue, I will reopen the issue ticket. Thank you!
