Dear Colleagues,
over the past year, we re-joined the FPGA codes for the pattern generator and cleaned up the interface to the MM6 class in LabVIEW. As a consequence, some modifications inside the MM6 class have been necessary. Now, the MM6 class is intended to be used together with PPG_ABC class (based on code by Falk Ziegler), it won't work anymore with the FPGA_HI class by Stephen Koszudowski.
As a workaround for people who would like to use the new MM6 class with the old FPGA code from Stephen, some so-called "conditional disable" statements have been introduced which will be available for a short transition period.
A new version of the package CSMM6 is now available, which includes the changed MM6 class. This has been tested at SHIPTRAP now for quite some time, so I would encourage users of the MM6 class to switch to the new version and start using the FPGA_ABC class.
The code is only available via our SubVersion repository. The C++ GUI is no longer maintained and remains unchanged.
Cheers,
Dietrich
