Crystal Scrolls V0.2.0 (finally) released

It has been a long, sometimes frustating time, but the unthinkable has happened. The next development snapshot (V0.2.0) of Crystal Scrolls is ready.

Without any more delays, here is what has been added in this version:

- Hardware animations. Everything related to animation is now done by hardware shaders. All animation types appearing in vanilla Morrowind should now be supported.
- NPCs are now alive and kicking. Well, paralyzed would be a better word (they don't "live" yet), but they are there, and they do display clothing amd armor.
- There is now a semi-functional skybox, offering a very rudimentary day-night cycle (the clouds will disable and re-enable every 90 seconds or so). Custom sky colors are supported as well.
- There is now a placeholder for the water mesh. You can not swim yet, but it is there, and in the correct position as well.
- Meshes now fade with distance.
- Various improvements of the terrain mesh. There should be no more ugly texture seams; vertex color seams are still there, though.
- Some behind-the-scenes improvements for the event handler.
- The installer should now support Vista/Win 7.
- Various bugfixes.... read more
