#9 D-pad select button does not select a note

I am using CryptoPad v. 4.09 on a Palm Tungsten E.

Pressing the "select" button (center button on D-pad)
opens a blank page with memo "Memo 1 of 6" depending
how many memos are in category.

Scrolling up with the D-pad will go backwards through
the memos.

What I expect: a memo title be highlighted. Another
press of the center button opens the highlighted memo.
Up and down on the D-pad selects another memo title,
or while viwing a memo, scrolls up and down respectively.
