this was my attempt to come up with a mail that has a clever subject
header.

just to log what i've done recently:
	- CAST128 cipher support.
	- improvements to the Makefile system.
	- investigated some licensing.
	- began hunting for more test vectors.
	- more fixes which allow drop-in code for ciphers/digests.

i think we should convince Mr. Cox to added the IV patch to loop.c into
his -ac tree, hopefully to trickle into the main 2.4 tree.

also, i'm thinking we should seperate the distribution into patented and
unpatented ciphers, or rather, restricted and unrestricted, since i
doubt patented ciphers can go into a kernel :>
