It's kind of hard to know exactly what the issue is :)

When you launch Gridarta, does it show warnings?

Did you name the faces correctly, according to the naming conventions?

The face name should be something like key_green.base.111.png (with 'base' and 
'nnn').


Could you attach a screenshot, and if possible your faces? (if you wish to 
keep them private, send them only to me). :)
