[Crossdb-developers] setLimix(x,y)-Support

It may be already discussed, but are there any reasons why there is no
setLimit(x,y)-Support?

I know it is possible for some databases (mySQL, PostgreSQL) directly
and there are some workarounds for mssql and oracle available.
