You may need to get a copy of the gnome-download script from the cvs server at gnome.(it should be OK with Gnome2) I didn't think it was still required with that version... If you have a hassle finding the thing I should be able to send you one from here. Please note Pablo (the core developer) has been stuck in Argentina (NOT having a good time) so nothing has been done with the whole project for a while. I was looking after the eclipse version and I guess I still could.
