But.. if you look in t= he index file.. you see a bunch of '?????'.. strange.. There's no difference between deleting in the garbage mailbox and expunin= g... The ???? that you saw is just the dust that the deletion of a mail in tha= t mailbox did, see, when you delete a mail, the index file of the mailbox, at the line w= here that mail is loaded, it is overwritten with ? so it is ignored when loading. To delete all those ???? just go to Mailbox >> Speed Up.
