The notes:

  Bugs stomped: several in the exit routine code, as well as fixes for
  detecting minion creation failures. SYSCALL can now do forking of
  the currently executing code; CALL is now implemented and provides
  CORBA-like argument transfer. A missing INSERT file in a .crm
  program is now a trappable error. Can use TRE version 0.7.0
  (included!)

Yes indeed, you can not only SYSCALL a label (which is a fork()- like 
thing, you get an isolated copy of the mother-ship's data in the minion
and pipe connections), but you can also just CALL (which doesn't mask
local variables) and can be _REALLY fast_, as in over 3000 calls/second.

And you can TRAP a missing INSERT-file, so insert files can now be
optional or required, at the programmer's whim.

And TRE version 0.7.0 has \Q, \E, and (?inr-inr:regex) modifications, very
handy for people fleeing PERL.  :)
