#52 Using HTTP proxies

Hi,
I would like to be able to access IRC via an HTTP proxy.
I need this to be able to use IRC from within my corporate firewall.
Currently, only X-chat aqua (and I guess X-chat itself) allows this; and
therefor X-chat aqua is the only client I can use at the moment.
Unfortunately, X-chat aqua is not well documented and is pretty clunky.
So, I would really like to see Crikey be able to access IRC via proxies of
various forms (HTTP, SOCKS etc)
