    Greetings dear developers.
I recently downloaded the creatiVision emulator versions 151227 (2015-12-27), 150120 (2015-01-20) and 160424.7z 2016-04-24. However, I couldn't start the program, in any of the 3 versions, including Linux and Windows. In all versions, it informs you that the bios being loaded in the folders are invalid.
When I run the command to start, it returns the following command line error (Used version 15.12.27, but it's the same error on the 3 versions):

    creatiVision Emulator 15.12.27
    Built on Dec 27 2015 13:34:12
    Compiler: gcc (Debian 4.9.2-10) 4.9.2
    Machine Initialised OK
Invalid BIOS file name : bios/bioscv.rom

I also used the command "-2" and "-3" after the initialization command, to try another bios, but it doesn't start either:

    creatiVision Emulator 15.12.27
    Built on Dec 27 2015 13:34:12
    Compiler: gcc (Debian 4.9.2-10) 4.9.2
    CSL Cart emulation enabled
    Machine Initialised OK
Invalid BIOS file name : bios/cslbios.rom

    creatiVision Emulator 15.12.27
    Built on Dec 27 2015 13:34:12
    Compiler: gcc (Debian 4.9.2-10) 4.9.2
Salora Manager / Laser 2001 Emulation
    Machine Initialised OK
Invalid BIOS file name : bios/saloram.rom

Well, I know that maybe you are not working on this software anymore, your last update was in 2016, but it would be nice to understand why it is not working.
Maybe there isn't much audience for this emulator, but there are people like you and me who like the console and/or just want to experience a feel for what games were like back then.
Well, I would like to help too, if possible. I'm no code expert, but I know a little Java and a little Python, maybe I can help, I don't know, I'm just talking here, because I know it's a project that doesn't reach a large audience.

Well, my sincerest regards to you and I hope you can hear from this little old console emulator enthusiast. =)

    Hi,

The emulator needs the bios and rom folders below the executable.

From your screenshot, copy the creatiVision app to the root where you extracted the 7z file.

    Then it will work!

There is a good site for info etc at http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/news.php

    Cheers!
