*** Cream (for Vim) Version 0.25 Released *** ====================================================================== The Cream (for Vim) project (http://cream.sourceforge.net) has released the latest version of an easy-to-use configuration for Vim. Cream configures the famous Vim text editor so that it is simple to use for those of us familiar with Apple or Windows platform software. Through intuitive menus, keyboard shortcuts, and extensive editing functions, Cream makes Vim approachable for new users and adds powerful features for experienced users on both Windows and Linux. ====================================================================== Release Summary This minor release features a bug fix for SaveAs of unnamed, unsaved files. A few other refinements include a toggle for tab/space expansion, better respect of numbered lists with Quick Wrap re-wrapping, optional Text-to-HTML file save requirement, Column Mode Cut/Copy/Paste, and fixed keyboard shortcut for templates in GTK2 versions of Vim. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Some specific new Cream features from the 2003 Oct 29, v0.25 release: Major Improvements ------------------ o Fixed bug in SaveAs for unnamed, unsaved files so they are saved. o Added setting toggle for inserting tab characters or the equivalent number of spaces. (Ctrl+T) o Quick Wrap re-wrapping now better respects numbered lists. Numbers embedded within a paragraph are now less likely to mis-format. Minor Improvements ------------------ o Added Cut/Copy/Paste mappings in column mode. o Convert Text-To-HTML add-on now saves the converted file with an .html extension as a prompted option. o Improved h4x0r encryption speed (fractionally). o Updated a two few minor errors in keyboard shortcut documentation.
