Hello Steve, I've noticed a minor issue with filetype "tex" syntax highlighting. It always treats a number followed by a TeX size keyword as something special. For example, in the sentence Beer in cans is great. There are more than 5 in a sixpack. it highlights "5 in" because it probably thinks of it as a "5 inches" parameter to a command, although there is none. This also applies to other keywords such as "cm" or "pt" and is slightly confusing. Regards, Wolfgang |

Do you know if this error happens in Vim without Cream? We don't have any highlighting code associated with Tex, I'm wondering if the error is in $VIMRUNTIME/syntax/tex.vim. You can find out what highlight group is being (incorrectly) shown at the cursor position by entering at the command line: :echo synIDattr(synID(line("."), col("."), 1), "name") Then check through the Vim syntax file to see if you can spot an error where that group name is defined. BTW, there's also another bug on the TODO associated with Tex highlighting errors you might help me track down in this same manner: BUG: Spell check shows ". \a" as an error in Tex.
