You can compile the make target 'no_mpi' without having either the MPI module or the CUDATOOLKIT module loaded. This means that you should be able to compile it on your workstation. This is good for verifying code changes even when you cannot log onto a Cray machine. The 'no_mpi' target creates a binary that performs unit tests on the CD infrastructure. test
