Hey :) I am at the beginning of a long and difficult project. I'm going to start development on a roguelike. The interesting thing about this is that I wish to have the setting be set in the DC:SS universe. Familiar gods, familiar races(including the axed ones), and familiar Sigmund. As much as possible will be procedurally generated, but familiar characters may end up in the books found around the world. I suppose what I'm asking for is a blessing. I'd like to add to the Dungeon Crawl world, but be free from the restrictions inherent in the design philosophy. Let me know what you think, and I'll release a copy of my current notes. -Paul |

I look forward to seeing your notes. I'm guessing that by "restrictions" you're referring to the fact that Crawl has something of a pre-built plot, right? > -Paul -Wm [*] Mwa ha ha ha. |

Stone Soup is itself a fork of the original Crawl project, so it'd be super-weird to object to additional forks / reworkings. —nat On Jan 31, 2013, at 4:04 PM, Raphael Langella <rap...@gm...> wrote: > 2013/1/31 William Tanksley, Jr <wta...@gm...> > I have no authority > > Who does?
