#3112 [monsters] Why aren't my ballistomycetes friendly?

When I create Giant Spores with Fedhas' god-ability, they fly around and occasionally create ballistomycetes. However, the ballistomycetes are neutral to me, and the Giant Spores they create are also neutral. Why is this? It doesn't seem right that a friendly creature's "offspring" isn't friendly itself, and if I use Evolution on the ballistomycetes they become friendly Wandering Mushrooms anyway.
