I have installed CPU tuner twice. The first time that I installed it I kept
getting an error message,"the process com.android.phone has stopped
unexpectedly". I had installed other apps so I was not sure which of the apps
had caused the error. I could not do anyhting on my phone, because the error
would ask me to force close. As soon as I would force close it would pop back
up again a second later. I eventually had to do a full system wipe and
reinstall my CM7. I installed CPU tuner again last night. I went through the
process of setting up the configurations on the app. right before going to bed
I powered my phone down. In the morning I rebooted my phone and I received the
same error message, "the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly".
This time CPU tuner was the only app that I installed, so I know that the
error message was caused by CPU Tuner. Once again the only option that I had
was a full system wipe and reinstall, by the way is very frustrating. I tried
just installing the ROM with a boot/system wipe, but no luck. I had to do a
full wipe and reinstall.

This is a known error, which happens one some phones. (luckily/unfortunately
not on my n1)
I am (sort of) working on the problem...
... a friend of mine has the problem too, but we do not find much time to
debug!
