Check the lates 2.4.19-pre build our latest version of the cpqarray = driver (2.4.21) is in that patch. It contains all the 2.4 PCI API = changes so high memory will just work. =20 -----Original Message----- From: Toth Attila [mailto:go...@in...] Sent: Sunday, May 19, 2002 4:19 PM To: cpq...@li... Subject: [Cpqarray-discuss] cpqarray driver patch for kernel 2.4.18+ First, let me greet all develeopers on the list. The currently avaiable cpqarray patch for 2.4.14 doesn't fit the latest kernel because the differences made till that version. If there is a = patch avaiable somewhere please let me now. One more thing to mention is, that some person reported on the kernel mailing list, that he had problems with cpqarray driver included in the 2.4.18 kernel (driver version 2.4.5) when setting 4GB mem support = (needed to use his whole 1GB memory) during kernel recompile. It is important = for me, because I also have 1 GB memory and a Smart Array 221 to work with. = I saw no reactions on this problem after that. Is there a remedy for this problem?
