There is no way to configure the array under linux currently, but you don't have to install NT either. You can boot your Smart Smart CD that came with your system or the array controller and run the ACU (Array Configuration Utility) straight off the CD. -----Original Message----- From: br...@te... Subject: [Cpqarray-discuss] Configuring Array Controller under Linux I have a ProLiant 1500 with a Smart 2/P controller, and the hard drives have been wiped out. Is there anyway to configure the array controller under Linux, or do I need to install Win NT 4.0 to configure the array and then wipe that out and install Linux? I'd appreciate it if you could reply via e-mail to brdall (at) mediaone.net Thanks, -Brian _______________________________________________ Cpqarray-discuss mailing list Cpq...@op... http://www.opensource.compaq.com/mailman/listinfo/cpqarray-discuss |
