Brian,

The Array Configuration solution for Linux is to use the ACU, Array
Configuration Utility, which resides on the SmartStart CD. Since the logical
volumes have been wiped out, you will have to create the volumes using the
off-line solution before installing the OS.

I have a ProLiant 1500 with a Smart 2/P controller, and the hard drives have

been wiped out.  Is there anyway to configure the array controller under
Linux, 
or do I need to install Win NT 4.0 to configure the array and then wipe that

out and install Linux?
