I'm not sure what information exactly you need to know. But this is my 
development environment I used for cppunit:

Gentoo Linux 2.6.17
GCC 3.3.6 and GCC 4.1.1
Qt 3.3.6
Binutils 2.16.1
GNU Make 3.81
GNU Autoconf 2.59
