Ah.  OK, but I don't think the qt test runner was being built on unix,
so I really meant "not unix" when I said "VC++ specific".

I prefer it.  

I conceed that it is an aesthetic decision, but it is one more in
keeping with packages that install into system locations -- one
generally puts everything inside a single hierarchy.
