    I agree about the confusing part (the stuff is supposed to be portable
and you wonder why you have two dist...). And at the current time its clear
that it's not worth it.

    Another way to solve the confusing part would be to say that both dists
contains the same files but are in the OS format.

    I say let the problem rest for now...
