Yeah, I know. That's how I got the CVS sources to compile! :-)
It's a common mistake. I do it all the time.
By the way, one way to reduce the probability of this is to use
.cvsignore files everywhere. Then the output of "cvs -n update" is
useful: it shows you all the (M)odified, (A)dded-but-not-commited and
(?)unknown files in your checked-out sources.
