Tar files for 1.6.1 are named badly

The tar files inside the 1.6.1 are named .tar[1] instead of .tar. Downloads onto Windows or using tools that work off the extension won't work.

  No, the 1.6.1 files are named using the same scheme as previous releases: cppunit-1.6.1.tar.gz. Maybe your browser is playing games with the ".gz" at the end?
