Baptiste,

thanks for the detailed ToDo list on the Wiki. I will start exploring some 
of the Unix-related issues (gcc 2.9x, emacs integration). 

Another easy (?) refactoring to consider is SplitTemporary. This includes 
some things which might be generally useful, like determining the type of 
a variable.
