well I regulary check the status of the CDT project since one of the goals
of the project is also refactoring operations. Unfortunatly the progress of
CDT on refactoring is very small. For version 2.0 in Q2/2003 they plan to
implement a write CDOM (Ast as XML document). I do not know how
far they are with parsing full c++ code.
One reason to continue with CppTool is the open api for any IDE - so
as long as there's no real refactoring operation implemented in CDT
