Are you sure your application is running und reachable?
Did you try the command I sent you?

> wget localhost:8080/ticker -qO - | cat

If that works the page should also work:

http://localhost:8080/the_ticker.html

if not. Try to update your cppcms version and after that I don't have
any clue :D
