I guess you are trying to get a coloumn by its name? Try to get it via
its position instead. As I posted some times ago, never use SELECT * !
If you do so, you can define the order of the coloums and get them via
the position. Also it's faster.
For you problem:
either make a solution on your own and then commit as a patch
or make a feature request tracker.
